Should you buy domain name based on a keyword that you know will be searched 1000s of time (like 10,000 a month) within 1-2 months, but right now barely anyone knows the keyword? I will be buying the domain solely to sell it later on and not for long time commitment.

Also, can someone tell us from experience if they ever done that and their results please?

probably not

the reason being: i don't believe there are many keywords that will surge from 0 to 10,000 search volume within 1-2 months
