Hello!

I've found some websites, which offers targeted and untargeted traffic for websites (examples: www.visitorboost.com, www.targetedvisitors.info, etc). I'm not sure if this is wisely to buy traffic from such websites? Is their traffic real or fake? Is this really works? What untargeted traffic needs for? :)

Firstly, I think buying traffic is all about wasting bandwidth and money. It usually means people are paid to click on the links provided and visit the targeted site. If you decide to buy traffic, I would suggest you to first buy their minium traffic, just to test it out how it works for your site.

Adwords anyone? Adwords is the way to go when you want to advertise you site, for money.

Both of those sites you mentioned are run by a NamePros member, Dan Grossman, who Ive bought traffic from in the past and was happy with the results. You are for the most part buying popunder ads so you are going to get results in line with any other popunder campaign. If you have any questions I would contact him directly as he has always been very helpful in the past.

Personally, i wouldn't buy traffic. Perhaps, but i would have to trial the traffic seller several times just to check out the conversions on Sign ups (For a forum) etc etc.

Adwords is the way to go :imho:

Theres not many/any companies that sell expired domain traffic. alot of them say they do but they dont.

They make more money parking or developing the name. so be carefull.

after I found several scripts that are able send fake traffic by proxy (I have tested a couple of them and they do the job)I am very scare to buy traffic....better build real traffic yourself IMHO.

From what I've seen, most purchased traffic is useless. I've participated in some manual traffic exchanges here & there, but never got any conversions or signups. The traffic you get is too untargeted and mostly just interested in accumulating their own traffic credits.

i disagree that adwords are the way to go anymore....it may have been so a year or so ago, but now the same campaign that cost me 15 dollars a month for XXX traffic costs me 30 dollars a month for the same amount of traffic. I finally starting cutting back on adwords cuz it stopped being less profitable for me, and more profitable for google....

just remember, honest to goodness traffic doesn't just happen overnight... it really takes good content and time....

Buying traffic is worthless. The traffic they send to your website is mostly sent via popunders (which are annoying and 99% of users ignore them) 404 redirects, etc.

Probably 90%, if not more, of the visitors they send to your website, stay no longer than a few seconds.

Conclusion, buying traffic is not worth it.

Just my 2 cents.
