Hello,

I represent a Royal House of Europe. His Serene Highness is interested in creating an online brokerage presence for brokering titles of nobility and chivalry of the house. He is looking to find someone experienced in web development (as well as advertising). Please PM me and I can put you in touch with him.

A few examples of title sales to familiarize yourself with what will be sold.

There are more houses than you can imagine. Of course I could find a simple web designer, but the family is looking for something more than that.

The family does not reside in the U.S.
I have a home in the U.S. though and reside in the U.S. most of the time.

For those interested please do PM me. He can explain everything more in depth (legal discussion).

There aren't THAT many royal houses left, at least not royal houses that have current regency in their respective country. On the flipside, there are tons of royal (blue) blood lines and in some European countries these bloodlines decide to sell their titles. However, i have yet to hear that NEW titles are being handed out or sold. It would be the easiest thing then to pay some government official to obtain a "blue" title.
So, there's 3 questions left:
What type of titles are talking about here? (Baron - Freiherr, Graf, Herzog, etc.?)
What about the legal aspect of these titles? Since next to all countries accept titles only on a business card, de facto like a name, they don't have any legal bearing and will not elevate anyone above a non title bearing individual.
Last but not least; why has your employer not contacted one of the numerous reputable web development firms that are presenting themselves on the net? Google surely shows results when queried with: web design firm

Overall, i'm extremely skeptical... but that may just be me....

Be careful on this one. I was reading up on "buying titles" about a year ago and there is a lot of scams involved with it. Anyone who takes these guys up on their offer will want to remember that if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. ^^

That is why if there isn't a government authority somewhere involved don't get involved.

Buying titles is a very vague term. You have your $30 deed poll scam. You have your $500-$2000 trademark/copyright scam. You have your $30 "laird" title. Then of course you have you typical $4000-$15000 apostille scam.

We are talking SERIOUS PRIVATE BUSINESS here.

Also good to view the links I posted. A fool and his money are soon parted. Some get tied up in the fantasy of a title they don't ask to see any sort of documentation. We are talking about a single title costing $100,000.00 or $1 million dollars. Attornies, government involvement.

Of course my boss can go into further discussion on the topic with serious able partners. If you wish to be put into contact, please PM me.

Because of the private nature of the legal part of the market, it becomes open to a lot of scams. A good example would be how the idea of offshore banking is fantasized about, but it isn't so easy to obtain such an account. As you can see theres a million and one scams for that online.

Yes titles such as baron. Everything is legally backed. Customers of course are provided with full legal documentation.

My boss is looking for a business partner. In return for the partner's services, he will obtain a percentage ownership of the brokerage. He isn't looking to hire a firm to create a website or to even market it.

Skepticism is fine, but this is business of a private nature. Candidates who seem able to be a busines partner are put through a learning phase where the endless pages of information begins.

... and this business partner is of course asked to pay an amount $X upfront to establish this so called business venture, etc.

For one, there are agencies like that in place, specially in Germany, Ireland, etc.
Oftentimes, to obtain a title (German: Adelstitel) the title bearing individual must also own land in the country, sometimes even province of which the title points towards.
Little Side step into history here: In Germany, the royal titles have been discontinued from official use on August 11th, 1919, after the 1st world war. In the decree that's been made an official law by the German government, it clearly states that former royal titles are merging into the individuals name and are no longer to be considered a title but just a part of their name.
Titles that point towards land ownership are not permitted at all!
Example: Prinz of Scam is valid - Herzog of Scam is invalid. Herzog is a title for landowners.

The proof herein lies in the detail. I asked you whether titles such as Freiherr or Baron will be made available.
Well, for one: Freiherr is equal to a Baron, both titles mean the same, just stem from a different historical period and BOTH titles are referring to landownership, which, by the laws put in place in 1919 are no longer permitted! Maybe someone needs to either brief you better or you need to do your homework on titles.
Of course, your argument may be that i'm using Germany as an example. However, after WW1 (1914-1918) and the establishment of the title laws many European countries followed the example that Germany set.

In short, i call this entire thing you're proposing a scam attempt that leaves the bad taste of the African scams, just with a different topic.

You're certainly welcome to proof me wrong.

His Serene Highness is not German. This is also not a German nobility adoption.

You would have to contact His Serene Highness for more information, although I will only give that information to people who have the capabilities he is looking for.

No the family does not need the partner's money. The share of ownership of course will be based on how much the partner wants to contribute to founding of the brokerage.

I am well aware of the abolishment of German nobility. Although in Germany, many noble families generate hundreds of thousands and millions in income through adoptions. Just a "fun fact".

Yep, i agree. I just can't stand the odor of what could be a potential scam artist. Other than that, i'm finding this rather amusing by now as well :)

Of course.

BTW, HSH is mainly used in Germany, Monaco and Liechtenstein...so if he's not German that narrows the field a bit.

Atrocious spelling and grammar. No self-respecting nobility would allow this from any representative....Never mind the 10x price range.

But beyond that, there is no way nobility would allow slumming the 'Net for a designer/developer, much less respond to e-mail. Nor would a representative suffer more than a single accusation of illegitimacy. A scammer sticks around, though. Hi there!
