I am looking for a business directory script, not a link directory as most of the places will not have websites, maybe I can also push some websites and hosting on to them later.

It would be like the yellow pages for a local place online. Anyone know of a script like this. I am currently looking but finding none as of now. I can always modify a link directory if need be.

Features I am looking for,

Paid featured spots (paypal or other payment systems)

I guess that is the only big thing that I would like to be built in already as I am sure I could add the rest myself.

Thanks,
Michael

you may want to try http://phpyellow.com/
overview
Easily create web yellow pages. Build an online directory of businesses. phpYellow Pro EditionTM is the software of choice for making PHP yellow pages.

you might check out the phplinkdirectory forum. It is a link directory, but i saw some addons at one point on there where someone had done something similiar to what your asking.

At $200 USD, I think I will try to find a different script.

I was thinking of using PHPLD and rewriting some of the code myself, but if someone else already has then. I will have a look into that.

I think I am going to go with PHPLD and modify it to work as I need it to, unless anyone else can find me a script like I described in my first post.
