What Service do you use to search through large domain lists for available domain names?

I have been out of the loop for a couple years, but started using GoDaddy. Every other service I found limits the searches to 100 domains, but GoDaddy lets me do 500 at a time. The other day I was playing around and generated lists from 20,000 to 40,000 domains. Doing 500 at a time is taking too long... and I was wondering if there is a quicker way?

I use Name.com bulk search, it can be slow but it can do a lot at one time

Though it takes longer, I primarily use GoDaddy's bulk 500 name search even for my lengthy name lists, which have topped 60k on some. I choose GoDaddy mostly because they tend not to share the searches with third parties like others do, or so they claim.

However, you might also try namestation.com or pcnames.com, as both have bulk domains lookup. I haven't used either in some time, but they used to serve the primary purpose, which is mass domain look up.

Additionally, you can always google "bulk domain search" or something to that effect, which is how I originally found the aforementioned sites earlier this year. All the best.

This is not what you asked but seeing that you work with big lists I have a bulk search feature where you can enter 10.000 terms and search for expired domains. You have a better chance finding some quality names before they drop. You can get Godaddy expiring domains under $20.

By the way, I just tried name.com's bulk search and I think it is great.

i have a tool which were compiled to use for my self.
the tool can bulk search of large list of domains. (for 1 hours and 15 min i check all LLLL.com - 460000 domains which is not bad). tool is multythread. (100 threads in sec.)
but tool can check only com and net domains.
for org there is restrict i remember for 1 domain per 10 seconds.
still search for biz us and info good whois servers who have no limits per queries.

I would say that all reliable Domain Name Registrars offer such services (Bulk search for available domains).

Godaddy has always been very fast for .com searches, however, when searching .us, the speed slows down considerably. When searching multiple extensions I personally prefer Name.com.
