Hi guys!

Following the awesome advices i found from users of NP I would like to know if you think my first registrations are good enough to start building my portfolio.

As you can see my .com not represent much weight in my portfolio now. It is due I have use 0€ registration offers for other TLDs. As long as I can see in NP .com is by far the most interesting TLD so I will focus only on .com in the future.

TLDs
insuranceonlineauto.com
pornvix.com
teenagemoney.com

ccTLDs
survive.es
hover.es

gTLDs
hosiery.eu
infoguru.eu

ngTLDs
tipster.best
smartbuy.online
datenschutz.space

Thanks in advance! :)

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I would get rid of these. You need to learn what makes a name valuable. Register 2 or 3 names and then try and make a sale, you only start building a portfolio once you get some sales and understand the industry a bit more, if you dont, you will end up with a whole bunch of names that you wont be able to sell and you will waste the $10 renewal for each names in 12 months time.

Stay away from these new extensions, mist companies don't even now they exist

First research and read this forum from top to bottom for a few months so you understand what makes a name valuable.

All this below only comes after you have read this forum for a while.

Check out DNJournal.com and Namebio.com to see what type of names sell

Check out expiring lists and see if there is any value in the dropping names.
Email existing owners of decent names and buy 1 or 2 names, you wont know what is decent until you have done your research
Make sure there are plenty of potential buyers before buying the name
Avoid hand-registering names that are available, they are usually available for a reason.
Emailing potential buyers asking if they are interested in the name
Don't get greedy when starting out and sell for a reasonable price
Reinvest that profit into another name and then repeat the process.
Don't mix letters and numbers
Avoid long names and dont buy 3 word names
Avoid trademark names!!! Company names etc
Always make sure there is a commercial use for a domain you buy
Stick to .COM domains
Avoid hyphens in domains
Stay away from the new Gtlds

Hope that helps. Good Luck

I would keep TeenageMoney.com and drop the rest. I agree, stick to .com's during the first years. I agree with @gilescoley I would add that experiments usually have high cost. So, no ngtlds, no exotic extensions, no high risks. At least for the first years. Later, as you have more experience and not walk as blind in the dark, you can expand to other extensions or even to specialize to some.

Teenagemoney is one that I would keep too,

learn the game before starting to build a portfolio.

You should take the next months to go through posts within this forum, don't forget the search function is your friend.

Ask yourself...would I invest and build a business on this domain? Be honest with yourself!

OR...maybe sell TeenageMoney - cover the cost of you other names. Sell then as cheap as you can or drop. Now, hopefully you are up a few dollars and ready to search for you portfolio.

try checking GoDaddy closeouts - you can pick up very decent & sellable names for 5-20 bucks.
