Although a perfect extension for the name,
it's probably lacking commercial appeal. Still,
if a Buddhist organization wanted to centralize
their ideals on a website, this is a pretty good
name.

Any ideas on value?

Excellent domain, fits the extension perfectly. The term is included in 63 .ORG domains alone.

I am not going to give an exact price, but this one has great potential.

Funny thing is, I've actually used this very name as a hypothetical.
Some years ago, a discussion was raised on a webmaster forum about what constituted a logical use of .org. I distinctly recall the exact hypothetical I gave- and I am 100%, dead serious- was "An example of a name that fits with the .org extension is something like greenpeace.org or catholics.org or buddhists.org..."

Spot on! My original post had a line saying that the .ORG would be worth more than the .NET, but I decided to cut that part out - not sure why though!

Like bmugford it is hard to put an exact value on this domain and almost impossible to get a feeling on endused potential but let me say this if you dropped the domain tommorrow and snapnames or namejet picked it up I could easily see this domain going past the 3k mark.these are based on expierences not just sayng stuff I dont beleive plurals hurt words the plural makes it a different word like car.org and cars.org . I am not going to say the plural form hurts the word even though car is more searched than cars it just a different with a diffent form of existence. Great domain and dont let anyone tell you differently

the org extension is the best extension for this religious name (IMO), and imo even better than .com (if you are an enduser and not a domainer looking for fast reseller sale)

with over 500 Million people worldwide with this religion, you just need one rich "Dalai Lama" and you could sell this name for minimum mid xxxx imo.
don't let this one go for cheap.
keep it for 5 more years if you have to wait for the right offer (and if you are not 100 years old)
