I think it's a very brandable domain name.

It is certainly easy to remember. Unfortunately, IMO, the finger part of it would not conjure up the greatest of visuals. i.e. Middle Finger. There could also be some sexual connotations there. I wouldn't value it much more than registration costs. Hope this helps.

I disagree, webfinger.com sold for $3000 and goldenfinger.com sold for $9000.

My two cents was based on the intended use being a marketing type site. I don't know if I would consider doing business with a company called brand finger. Webfinger on the other hand sounds like it could be a useful app for indexing, organizing, and/or organizing information found on the web. GoldenFinger doesn't sound like a marketing company....maybe a blog on finances......

Finger on brands. You have a finger or touch for brand names etc...

I'm into brandable domains and I don't like the sound of it. Usually "Brand" + noun do okay, but this one just feels weird. I agree with the former poster. Also, when talking about brands, pairing "finger" with a different word can make all the difference, so you really can't compare it to your examples..

I've picked up or seen for sale much better "Brand" + noun domains for low $xx.

Personally I see it as $0 across the board.

Hope this helps!

You can't simply find a sale with a word in it and assume that any domain with that word in it will sell for similar. Also, simply because there exists a website with a particular domain does not mean that domain would sell if it were available - there are a lot of developed websites with terrible names..

i agree

there are certain parts of the body, that don't resonate as "professional", when used for marketing purposes.

marketingfinger.com is also another site. I thought it was good, maybe I'm wrong again.

Here's a bone. Go try to sell it to the owners of the above examples you gave. I think they might be your best chance (especially the last one - marketingfinger.com - since it is very similar to brandfinger.com). I just don't see it doing well on the open market. But a good salesman can sell just about anything to the right person. ;)

Hope this helps!

I agree, a good salesmen can sell anything. My evaluation of the domain name is my opinion. A good salesmen can overcome the naysayers and present it another way. I still own and at one point in my career ran a full time discount site that started with dirt cheap. Those words have their own negative connotations to some people, the site flourished and did very well for a number of years despite that. Why? Because I was a good salesman and my customers loved me!

Good Luck with it. Based on the whois, you registered it today. You got a minimum investment in it. Take a chance and throw it in the auctions or on Flippa with $1.00 no reserve. Your worst case scenario is it doesn't sell or sells for less than the approximate $10 you invested in it. Win some lose some, I hope you win big with it and come back here and brag about it!
