New hand regs..How do I find the value...is there any service or is just what someone is willing to pay?:?

-Compare with simmilar sold domains
-On Sedo.com you get an automated appraisal (what is often to high, but gives an indication)
-Check search volume on key words in the name
-Could you think of a website to develop with the name that makes sence?

In the end it is what it is worth to someone that counts...

I would stay away from hand reging names unless you use some type of site(freshdrop.net or similar) to find out which ones that do have value(high exact searches in keyword tool) that are still available to reg.

And to further add to my first post even then only reg a couple dont go crazy with them. Learn what kind of names sell and the prices that they are normally bought and sold for. Rarely does anyone win with hand reged names

If you are talking about brand able domains then i would like to tell you that all good domain are already reserved and if you want then you have to pay it if it's owner want to sell it.
