I'm interested in your opinion regarding the value of this domain?

Do you think $200,000 was a good selling price? Too low, too high?

It sold earlier this year. My question though is what you guys think of the selling price? Would you ever suspect the domain, based soley on the domain name, to be worth $200,000?

I'd think it's a great domain for anything related to BRAD Pitt... $200k seems reasonable to me in that respect.

As far as i am concerned, anything with a first name only hence Brad. Is a great buy and sell. So i think that 200k is fair.

Thats the obvious connection. Was wondering about others. Have to agree, seems ok from that point of view.

To the right buyer a first name.cc could be worth xxxx i would think. And i agree, it wont be a brad pitt fan site.

Didnt think they would be a big seller, so discounted them straight away (sorry to all the brad sellers out there).

I was thinking more of the acronym area, or other BRADs.

Acronyms:
BRAD Bidirectional Reference Array Derived
BRAD Bowdoin Random Access Device
BRAD British Rate And Data

All that is there is:

Congratulations!

A good price IMO

I don't see the value in this domain - well, I don't see the $200,000. Are there similar first name .com sales?

I appreciate all your responses. Thank you. The only other first name .com sale that I could remember is Jasmin.com. It sold for $310,250 not too long ago. I'm sure there are more, public or private, but that's all I can think of at the moment.

This name has a huge potential. With the possible meanings of Brad and its already meaning as a neme. This is a steal at 200k. :imho:

Overpaid, I'm afraid.

Look at recent prices of premium names at TRAFFIC East/West, and I think the $200k could have been better spent.

And I can't imagine it's a Pitt site.

Name is really mind blowing. I reckon the buyer will start a celeb website or something. It's a nice sale. :)
