Hello,
is there any way to rest your body clock? I am more of a nighttime person and always have been. I can get up at 3pm and work right through till about 7am without feeling one single bit tired. The other hand if I get up at 7am and go to bed at 11pm even after I have started this in a routine. I feel tired in the day time. Anyone else like this?
Also is there a good way to reset your body clock? I have a job interview in a few days and over the last fortnight I have been staying up till 8/9am and getting up around tea time. I need to get back in to the routine of getting to sleep at about 11pm again but I never feel tired no matter what.

Depending on what your new jobs hours call for, it will take atleast 3 days to switch out of vampire mode. I know truck drivers that used to drive all night long to avoid traffic and have been retired for years that still cant sleep at night after 20/30 years of staying up all night. I do believe scientists have also proved somehow the body/mind was not meant to stay up all night long for long periods of time. We were meant to sleep at night to regain our energy from the universe. I'd break that habit if I were you as its not healthy for the soul.

do not know because I am the nighttime person too. I can not sleep midnight, but in the morning I always feel tired. I heard to change the body clocks it is necessary to work much above youself. Probably sometime it will help.

I'm a nocturnal person as well. I think I may be insomniac, as I just cant get to sleep before 1/2 am.
This means on schooldays I get about 4-6 hours of sleep, dosnt affect my performance however, lol.

From the wiki on insomnia:
An overactive mind or physical pain may also be causes.

I generally stay up late, get up late as well...however i have had to "reset" in affect my body clock due to exams (it's no good sitting an exam at 9am when your body still thinks it needs to be sleeping)

Best way, and only way, is to go to bed late at first, but get up at about 8 am...and i mean exactly at 8am. If your body knows a time you want to get it and you start doing it eventually it will train itself to do it automatically. When it does that go back and start getting to sleep about 10/11. That's how I've done it :P

hey me too.

I surf namepros forum till 4AM... sometimes even 5AM

I guess all computer geeks like us sleep late.

I prefer working at night as there is less noise. more silent and much better concentration on what i do.

to reset.. i just go to sleep earlier, like 2AM, then force myself to wake up early.
Yes i feel tired in the morning, but I will drink a cup of coffee to keep me awake all day.

I was like you, I just couldn't sleep at night - could stay up until 2am/3am easily. About 2 weeks ago I decided that I needed to stop doing that, so I started to go to bed earlier each night. Seemed to work, now I usually go to bed around midnight, and feel a lot better in the morning too. ;)

I usually can't fall asleep before 1 AM or so, no matter how early I got up... I usually get tired around 9 or 10 pm, but usually too busy doing things to go to sleep, and then I get a second wind and I'm wired for the rest of the night.

Give it a try, you may break in a new habit - sleeping at night :)
