Fellow NPer's,
I know there is a separate thread for Bodis and parking names there. I was just curious what fellow .TV'ers are experiencing with parking and revenue there. I have been getting an unusual amount of clicks for one name and wanted to see if anyone else was experiencing this. Feedback is always much appreciated.

Anybody here using ParkingPanel? If so, how does Bodis compare to ParkingPanel?

I'm already approved for Bodis but have yet to add names there.

has anyone moved from Parked.com to Bodis? I found I got better traffic and revenue when I moved them all from SEDO. I would possibly mobe my names to Bodis, but would like to hear if anyone moved to them from parked.com.

Not that I can think of. The name is publisher.tv. It seems very unusual especially with quite a bit of traffic, but no revenue. I am also using the default landing page. I have put a few requests in to customer service, but have yet to hear back.

I have moved some of my domains from Sedo and Afternic (actually a real mess) to Bodis I must say that after a week I can see the difference, a big plus. I am thinking of moving my entire portfolio there.

Aren't you afraid of that they could remove the link to your site when they find out that it's parked?

Not at all, wouldn't bother me in the slightest.

html - I use parkingpanel as well as Bodis - so far Bodis have been much better - parkingpanel are pretty useless IMO - sometimes you get a fair amount of visits but the ads. are not relevant so no clicks - I had one site with keyword Yoga and they put up ads. about masturbation techniques !
Bodis are a little bit better but still not brilliant - but average per click is 40 cents compared with 7 cents at PP - Namedrive are not much use either
I'm thinking of trying some names with Parked

bodis is the best for parking domains !!!!!!!!!! they asked me how many ihad to park , because over 100 they seemed interested and got back to me within three days

I am referring to Afternic, I was a big fan but since last December parking issues are getting worse and worse, I won't list here the various inconveniences I am facing as this is not the subject of the thread (or PM me), I just wish to say that in comparison Bodis is a real pleasure, it works fine.

Oh yes, no comparison, Bodis is much better. What is difficult to understand is Afternic has so much history and they should be number one. It shows that a real desire to be the best, (Bodis) can with effort bring rewards.

I have said for years that the large auction houses were just using domainers for their parking profits. It used to be their main focus to sell domains. But with millions of names parked in places like Afternic, they pretty much milked it, (us) for all we were worth without giving back. Who can do anything about it as only a few places were available to park.

Its a different chapter now as COMPETITION is here for parking, thats a good thing for domainers.

I hope new parking companies continue to prosper, places like Bodis may be a real help for domainer parking revenues.

I'm a bit miffed that bodis removed my domain Sexier.TV and gave me a warning because it's an adult name. I saw it more as a health, feeling good, fashion, looking sexy kind of name. I mean, it's hardly hardcore is it?

Bodis have kindly put sexier back on now! Been with them 4 days and the stats are great!! It's awesome that you can target them better too.

Plus, you can have good communication with Bodis as they will listen to domainers.

Aaargh ! I have just discovered that a bunch of my .tv names parked with Bodis are forwarding to a fantastic white page "Domain not found in any user account"... see the example of RealEstates.tv... These names have disapeared from my Domain Management but are visible in my Domain Report.... Am I the only one here experiencing this problem ?

I had a problem with a .tv name - serpents.tv - I tried pointing it at afternic (got the white page) and at bodis (got nothing) now it's pointing at Parked and is OK.

I was accepted to Bodis with in 24 hours. Now that I hear they are having problems with .tv names, I'm reluctant to make the switch.

Thanks Vic. I have the same with Afternic for all new .tv names added to my portfolio. Lol I did not expect that jazz with Bodis as the names parked there did work fine a few days ago...incredible.

I am just exhausted to spend so much time to regularly check each of my names on those 'parking' sites :yell:

Funny thing, I opened an account at bodis, and never bothered to repoint all my non-used domain names there. But after this thread, I went ahead and did it a couple days ago. I have made more in clicks there in the last few days then I have with sedo/afternic/anywhere else in the last six months.

This is for all domain extensions I have, not just TV.

Showbiz I confirm that those which are -working properly- on Bodis have MUCH better results than on Afternic/sedo. But for the names pointing to nowhere I am losing traffic money and my time, in addition it seems Bodis doesn't give a s.....about :yell: emails. Voila.
