Bodis site indexed within 3 days !

I have parked my site with Bodis.com and the site was previously owned by a namepros member.

Today when I searched for a keyword my site it seems has already been indexed...I have also been lately getting 10-15 hits a day and I also own the .net version.


Is this normal with parked site or just that I am getting visitors and so it is indexed....

It will drop off the index and fall to "no website land" soon. Parked pages can get indexed but it's hard for them to keep some sort of rank (some exceptions).

I tend to disagree. All of my Bodis sites were indexed early on when I forst started in July and the number of indexed entries continues to increase.

What i'd like to see is some sort of stat tracking tool at Bodis. Similar to parked: a tool that shows the origin of the user, how the user got to the site, most searched for keywords, etc.....
I hope that Matt is actually working on something like that.

If someone owned it previously to you, then likely it was already indexed by Google, and they just stopped by on their regular crawl and picked up whatever changes you made. You happened into some good timing. Google comes every day for some of my developed sites; others, with little or no content, or my parked pages, it can go days, weeks or months between visits.

And, an easy way to implement this would be for the creator of Bodis *hint hint* to allow us to input our Google Analytics code into the lander pages!

My domains got indexed at Bodis much faster than at the other Parking companies. At least 20% of them are Alexa ranked. (not sure if there's any advantage in that). I personally think it's partly because I've customized all my domains and put more time and effort into Bodis than with the others.

It makes a big difference to be able to edit the titles. It'd be even better if we could also use the meta description, but I guess that's not in the cards for now.

another good thing about google indexing your site even if it is on page 600 of the search is if somone types in domain.com in the google search bar which happens quiete
frequently your site appears. If google doesnt have it listed a blank page appears. I get at least 20 percent of my traffic this way

I'm sure it will help by writting a short article. I've done that on about 20% of my domains, and am slowly writting more. As you can imagine they are time consuming but I believe are well worth the effort.

You should write it first on WordPad and then cut and paste it to Bodis, but keep a backup copy allways just in case something ever goes wrong.

Most of these names are in the second year of reg. Parked at Bodis. CTR is down but rev is up.

I also checked several names parked at SEDO ........ no indexed names on first page of google results.

Yes, Yahoo seems to be slower to pick up the sites.

A quick update ....My visitors have jumped from 10 to 17 today and earned me a revenue of 2.20 $ .
