Bluetooth, wifi, usb, wimax etc

the rule has always been to go "generic".

Many brands sell products like bluetooth phones, wifi laptops, usb card readers wimax laptops etc. These are all generic terms in my book.

Registering something like MotorolaBluetoothPhone.com is obviously not legit but is registering BluetoothPhone.com ok? I would think so.

These are all generic terms in my book.

If others don't care about your "book", much more consider it authoritative, it
means nothing. That link you posted already gave answers to your post.

Registering uniquely famous trademarks...now that's where one can get in lots
of unwanted trouble. Why else register them unless you want to make a non-
commercial site that won't steal traffic or whatever?
