Blogging - Out To Date !?

Hey, I am blogging since 1,5 month now, but I was thinking.... Is blogging profitable !? Maybe the blogging word is over saturated ?? there are so many blogs.

Should I carry on with it.. or not?

I almost never get replys on my blog posts and stuff.. and not getting that much traffic.. i am stuck on the same amount of traffic for the last 1,5 week.. it won't go up..


someone have any good tips to share here ??

I don't think it is as profitable as you think. IMHO I blog because I like blogging. You should do everything primarily for interest rather than money.

You can try Pay Per Post if your blog is more than 3 months old. That is guaranteed money. I am trying to get into that program to test and see if it works.

I am doing it for fun ofcourse, but every site i make is also to make money

I don't think blogging is dead per say but I think there are easier and faster ways to make money. If you are famous or well known in your particular niche then you are probably more likely to do better because you would get more traffic. But like Leet said do it because you like it not just to make money. If you do enjoy it then you will probably have better success. Too many people are throwing up junk blogs that are turning off visitors IMO.


Video blogging and on-the-go mobile blogging are the future...

One tip I can give is too silently advertise your blog, like on NamePros. I commented on some of your posts.

Technorati is a good idea apex is right. Once you get your blog added and ping it you will find your blog listed in google blog search pretty quick.

I'd think only a handful of blogs are really worth spending time on..namely those with valuable info. I don't think most people care to read about what you ate for breakfast or your dogs name...unless you are a celebrity (or a relation/friend of one..heh).

Its true most blogs are just spam...do a blog for the love of it and put your effort into it, not simply throwing up tons of blogs to earn a dime here and there...and earn the wrath of G.

this is not true.. when i just started i received after the first 2 days always 20+ visits :bingo:

but earnings are very minimal.. almost nothing.. but i do it for fun to it is my hobby to play with websites and stuff.. aiming for a good one now.. and make some serious money though :kickass:
