Blog site help

I am wanting to create a blog site, where I have a navigation bar on the side so I can add things, likely a bar at the top to add titles, but I also want to have it themed. Wordpress is likely the best but here are a few examples

I want it so each blog can be shared or bookmarked using twitter, facebook, ect....... and you can also leave comments after each. Anyone out there send me to the write person? I am very familiar with html, just not sure about a blog or wordpress! Thanks
