I'm looking for some feedback and some unique ideas or tips for my new blog.

The blog is not complete yet, I'm still adding more content and fine tuning a couple things.

Quite a thorough blog you've got there, tons of opportunities for topics. Layout is good, good integration of video and pictures on the actual content pages.

One thing i'd look at and possibly change: The logo/banner area. Your Adsense box is overpowering your logo. Eventually make the adsense box a bit smaller, give your logo more room and importance and eventually add a tag line or 3 word summary of what your site is delivering.

For a blog, this is a job very well done!

I could be wrong but I thought adsense only allowed 3 adcodes per page?
