very nice design.
nice read too.

The only thing I could find to improve was the blue on the forum that shows up while the images load. look for these hex values in your forum stylesheet: #006699 (dark blue) & #c7d0d7 (light blue) - I'd change them to: #66c102 (green to replace dark blue) & #f2f1ee (light grey to replace the light blue)

And while we are on the forum... I guess another improvement would be new forum post icons. Just removing the blue border would be an improvement. Of course, it would be even nicer to use the butterfly from your logo.
