As an fyi, i just posted/commented on Andrew Allemann's Domain Name Wire;

"Andrew,since receiving this at 12:05 est today I've been on a "Premium" binge buying spree for domains like TourGuide.link and SmartSaver.link. At last count I registered about 120 of these domains, and plan on buying a hundred more. Once I take a breather, and because I know there are so many great names left, I plan on reaching out to Yoni, Manuel and Art V.to see if they're interested in investing in me and my outbound marketing strategy. Thanks Andrew"

Note....there are thousands of great .link names that remain unregistered and you can buy them for $4.89 at Namecheap. Also note, you can't buy them at GD, but the risk vs. reward potential was too great an opportunity not to take advantage of it. Any questions or observations fire away.

Joe....i really hope you're not trying to take me off topic, but my game of choice was and still is Black Jack! On another note, you were interested about TM's and how I decide whether or not to TM a domain that i register. Forget the extension, but I just registered the name HeadsUp™ for a whopping $5. Having learned a little about the TM process, would you TM the name for $350 if you were me? Let me know what you think?

As a professional gambler, what do you think of a new card game called HeadsUp:xf.cool:

Ah, okay cool. So "professional" was meant to be tongue-in-cheek. Blackjack is a great game. Craps might be even better!

Based on your own criteria, I would say it only makes sense to trademark HeadsUp if you're planning to operate a business under that name. Otherwise it's a waste of money!

Heads Up is actually already the name of a popular game, though! You'd have to use it for something else. It's a shame, though, because it would be a great name for a poker variant game.

We know this is a .link thread, but since you are also a prolific investor in .onlines, do tell us a few names that you sold and for what sum.
Why are you avoiding the question

Because he hasn't sold any. While most would have concluded that the experiment was failure, he has decided that he should try the same in another field.

At a buck each, I'm still registering .online domains. Why?.....because it's working out for me:xf.wink:
May I ask where you register .online for a buck each?

Sorry, this thread was created to chat about .link. That said however, i have sold enough "good quality" .online domains to keep my portfolio afloat.

Brad
Brad...."DataCubeCom:ROFL:" or "DataCubeLink(y)" Thanks for wishing me "luck" with "link:xf.cool:" On a more serious note, i was able to register about 50 new one word .link domains last night involving fields of study like Psychology.link. btw, i don't own Psychology.link, but you might say I've cornered the market for all the rest.

HeadsUp could be the brand for a consulting agency that helps people get their heads off their butts and start thinking realistically :)
Thanks for the suggestion Elkhan....you may want to consider changing "Americas Exquisite Magazine" from ELIX to HeadsUp™ What do you say:xf.wink:

It sounds like the previous owner of those domain names was using them to spam people. That could have some negative repercussions for the names, as I suspect they've been red-flagged and wouldn't be very desirable for anyone hoping to use them for business purposes.

I believe the .link extension is generally one of the more popular ones used by email spammers. I could be wrong about that... People have posted a Top Ten list of spammy extensions on NamePros in the past.
Thanks for your explanation Joe....this most certainly could be a negative, but I'm sure the new owners of .link;

ICANN records show that Nova Registry Ltd is the new owner of this domain.

You need to follow the thread to find the domain investor behind this deal. The company was registered in Malta in December. Manuel Debono is the director, and Vandelay Investments Ltd owns all 120,000 of the issues Type A shares. Vandelay was registered in Malta in 2020, lists John Huber as director and…domain investor Yoni Belousov as the owner of its shares. Yoni is a successful and well-respected domain investor.

are going to want to know about me. I know if I'd purchased a company with a shady past like this, and someone of my experience were to show up at my door, I'd thank God for the intervention.

This is most likely why I've been able to register hundreds of otherwise Premium domains like this so easily.

If either John Huber or Yoni Belsousov, or someone else close the new .link are reading this, you may want to reach out to me for a lot of different reasons.

Thanks again Joe

Can you report some of the .online sales you’ve got !!?

.
Sorry, this thread was created to chat about .link. That said however, i have sold enough "good quality" .online domains to keep my portfolio afloat.

Moving on to my recent discovery of the sale of the .link gTLD, you might say I was blessed to be at the right place at the right time. If I were to post here some of the Premium .link domains I've been able to register over the last 72 hours you'd probably say NO WAY!

The key now is to find an investor/partner to help me blow this thing up. And what I mean by that is to educate the world about this industry.

First off blogspotter, who are "we know" . I'm not avoiding your question, and when I tell you that I've sold multiple .online domains that's ALL you need to know......and i don't even need to tell you that.

Bottomline, there are very few people or companies i trust in this industry including the likes of Go Daddy. If you want to contact me personally and identify yourself, you can learn the rest of the story.
