You are technically correct. We can say bike cost or costs, and how we wrap words around them determines if we used them correctly!

I do still think Costs is the better way to go here. If I had asked about Fee or Fees (3L vs 4L isn't my point) How about TrafficFee.com vs TrafficFees.com? That puts us back to square one, with what you said. What is the traffic fee for parking in a handicapped space? It seems like there are an awful lot of traffic fees involved for going 12 mph over the speed limit!

In our clients network we have one 2nd hand shop and 6 rent a bike shops and there are 1000s of shops/rentals in the city. For them, the best DN is something like MikeBikesShop or MacBikeRent. Only one agree to use the "City"BikeRent but as the secondary domain name - redirect.

Have you ever been at the computer looking up names, finding they are available, cussing yourself for looking and then feeling like the exact words you were looking for are available, so how can you not get them? Well that is me right now! It all started when I though BikeHydrated.com. I left that one behind because it seemed with regards to biking and hydration, the ion was more prevalent. In fact I checked trademarks when i typed bike hydration and bike hydration systems came up first in the search, words not domain! I actually like BikeHydrated, feel it could be a brand potentially. Def can be a catch phrase of one of biking's 10 commandments! Eh

I like costs better than cost as well, it makes the domain a bit more universal.. BIKECOST to me sounds like your looking for a specific bike, where BIKECOSTS sounds more generic like your looking for either multipe bikes or a specific bike across multiple vendors. The same would go with accessories etc... just my 2¢
