Hand Regd this a couple of days back got good google trends results (although im not sure if that is of any significance) and taken in all major tld's... value opinions? Or development ideas?

I agree with Porte, the extensions is taking the domain down.

But BigTrader is easy to remember and pronounce.

My appraise method is "hmm... how much would I give for it", if I was interested in buying it. (I know its not really scientific, lol.

I would say mid $XX (Im not copying you Porte... Reallly, lol)

lol thanks for both appraisals so far keep them coming! I know .co.uk takes it down a fair amount but i think .co.uk out of all country tlds has the biggest market. Maybe its because i live there but just an opinion. Has anyone got any development ideas?

I think the name would fit following:

- a forum for traders yep this one took a long time to find.

- a site like alibaba.com (you know, that unrealistic big export/import chinese website, you may have heard about it at the news)

BigTrader could be used for a foreign currency exchange portal as a minor example. But it's up to you and your knowledge about trading in the UK.

As known extension is degrading the domain but still loads of scope is left if you will be able to develop it well. Remember it is one of the most common ccTLDs today.

I would be interested to know how many people appraising this domain have ever sold a .uk domain or been involved in the market

www.domainprices.co.uk has some good sales data on .uk , usually only the Sedo and forum reported sales. Currently the £ is around 1 to $2 USD for a quick comparison.

I guess I'm a buyer not a seller
