We are proud to announce a new type of bidding directory, The opposite directory. and the goal is to stay as simple as possible, no images, no ads (besides from max 3 sponsorlinks and 3 partner sites sitewide) and nothing really that can take the eyes and interest away from the submitted links. This is the purpose of getting the highest exposure to those that have put a link into this directory.
Bid for Position is working in this way. A Featured link with 3 Deeper Links will cost $5 for 30 days, from day 2 the funds will depreciate $0.17 each day. This will give possibilities for bidders with a lower investment budget a fair chance to get to the top. So if you add $5 without adding new funds within 30 days the link will become a regular one
But if you add funds of $1.00 and above within these 30 days, the period is extended with new 30 days. We believe in this way there will be reccuring users to the directory, just to keep the listings ahead of competitors, and of course this will make a great exposure possibility for your site. What we do like about this method, is that people are paying for the potential traffic they may receive from our home page, and it is unlikely bids will get driven up too high. This follows more closely a traditional print ad advertising model. The cost of ads are determined on a monthly basis,and the price of the ads automatically adjusts based on the demand. There is option to just submit your quality sites for free as regular with or without reciprocal, just like a regular directory.
