So guys, please tell me what's your favorite forums for webmaster, web development?
SitePoint seems to be quite busy but I hate to pay a fee each time I post in the market section.
WebmasterWorld is professional but no business section like buying and selling.
And what about OZZU? or DigitalPoint, or even Webmaster-Talk?
So what is your favourite, please let me know.
Thank you for your input.

Your post about other domain related forums will be removed. However I don't think this will.

Anyone else?

Correct, we only request that you do not promote other domain forums at NamePros. This thread is fine. The OP already mentioned the three other webmaster forums that I visit on occasions (DigitalPoint, WebmasterWorld, Sitepoint).

I visit SitePoint often although I don't post there. I used to post over at Webmaster-Talk, though not much anymore. NP has pretty much become my hangout in terms of webmaster related forums. I think SitePoint is probably the best overall with all the information that they have.

If your in the webmaster industry for just buying sites then id have to say youd have to look around all of them as all have different sites to sell.

Yes i dont like sitepoint as much as you have to pay for sites but if you want serious money for your site then that does seem to be the place to buy. No matter how much i love this place i got offers 3x as much over at sitepoint then what i currently got offered here at NP.

Yeah but sitepoint has jumped on the "Let's make exorbitant amounts of money off of our loyal client base" bandwagon. I used to sell turnkey sites there, however their $9.99 fee would cut my earnings in half.

Agreed, that's why I don't sell there anymore nor post that much. However, in their defense, it is a large website and they're trying to make money off of it - in a way you cannot blame them because most of the sites that sell there go for at least good $xxx in the low range. I think the whole let's charge idea came about by those who complained so much about turnkey websites, then they realized how much money they could pull in.

Either way, you still cannot miss the knowledge of the members over there. Great place to go to get specifically webmaster advice.

If I can summarize each of these leading webmaster communities:
WebmasterWorld: Professional
DigitalPoint: Crowded (Your posts get a lot more chance to be replied.)
SitePoint: Somewhere between.

WebmasterWorld - very professional, might take a little while for your posts to get answered

DigitalPoint - full off arrogant webmasters who will answer your posts very fast, but its likely they'll find some way to be a jerk

Sitepoint - depending on the section you're posting in, they're either really professional (ex: any of the programming sections), or, they're really unprofessional (ex: the affiliate programs section).
