Best tools for checking domains

Hi
What are the best tools to do any/all of the following:

mass bulk check of words to see if they're free in any extensions (best ive found is monkiers)
mass check to see if any domain (a word in any ext) is free & if it has PR, alexa, or backlinks
or any of the above that have an api so i can use it in a script (for personal use only)
