Does anybody else use any Link Popularity checkers? I have used several so far for one domain and have come up with differant results on every search.

Example

www.NFLlinks.com

Link Popularity

Market Leap 1,095
LinkPopularity.com 1,083
FreeWebLink.com 1,696
SeoChat.com 480

Page Rank

All Show PR5

Do I just pick one and go with it? How can you sell, using accurate data when all the info is widely differant in most cases?

If you look carefully, they are all correct.
The difference is on how many search engines each checks, and then adding total links you get the different results.
Look at the results they give for each individual search engine.
For your example, they are report 23 links for Google, and 457 for MSN, 606 for Altavista, and 608 for AlltheWeb. Then some are showing zero results for Yahoo as scripts need to be updated to reflect a change Yahoo made recently.

Hope that helps.

I use seobook.com or iwebtool.com

iwebtool has a backlink checker that shows the URLs linking to your site and displays each links pagerank. Also has a few other useful tools.

I like seobook keyword suggestion tool. I also downloaded the seo firefox extension... useful for me, anyways.
