Thanks for the help. Is it still a nightmare to transfer out of 1and1.com? I remember a few years back I needed to transfer out of them and needed to email paperwork etc. It was very painful.

Didn't work for me. I think that dotster/netfirms promo has expired.

The INFO transfer price I was wrong about anyway, regular transfer price at dotster is $9.46
There is a current 15% working coupon - NVU making the cost $8.04

If you are not in a super hurry, they have promo codes about every 7-10 days that vary from 18-35%, sometimes there is a minimum purchase though.
