Just regged 14 dot TV names in last month and want to know where the best place to park them.

Another concern is I regged them under godaddy for about $30 bucks a piece. None where classified as premium, so can I expect about $30 renewal fees or is this extension plagued with unpredictable variable pricing?

They will be the regular godaddy .tv renewel fees, think about $35.00.

Welcome to the club!

You will have to try all parking systems and see which monitizes your name better. Few names at few places. Check out parking and monitization subforum.

If you resgister all your names with godaddy, you should have renewal fees of 35$ per year. Godaddy used to let coupons work for .tv names, but not at present.

On top of that, your language in your question suggests you are exactly half informed, imo. I would suggest that you get fully informed by reading this subforum.

Thanks and good luck with your names, care to share them?

I'll be at Domainfest at the end of the week and that is one of the main inquiries I have for all the parking companies that will be there. Will report back after the show.

Guys,

I am not sure why having a .TV ext would be an issue in where to park.........

I would think it is more of a general question - who pays out dismally, who pays out better and who pays out best...

I used to park all my extentions at NAMEDRIVE - I made $120 in six months with 200 names + I now park at Parked and made $500 this month with only 25 names , all .TV..............

Sure I can share them, here they are:
Preseason.tv
BankOwned.tv
Duplexes.tv
FixerHome.tv
FixerUpper.tv
FixerUppers.tv
FSBOs.tv
HomeInspections.tv
HudHomes.tv
PayPerVideo.tv
Preforeclosure.tv
REOs.tv
Showings.tv
The last name is my last name in .TV

That's pretty awesome! Maybe the content provided by parked is more relevant to your .tv names, thus the higher clicks and payout.

I guess my take in questioning the various parking companies at Domainfest is to see if any will be creating a parking program geared more toward video/media. As the evolution of parking pages to look more like a real site is now in vogue, is there going to be a company that makes video content parked pages that will fit the extension better?

WestBlock your thinking is same as mine. Sedo has a mobi template, which is not great advancement but it does suit the extension. For .tv i would think as streaming media and web commericals gets bigger, they would stream these video ads on the parked pages and give us a percentage for every "view" that occurs. Just an idea.

Thanx WB,

Although to be fair to Namedrive, I did not have premium names and now I do, one of them , FIX.TV producing between 400 - 560 uniques a day...shame the PPC on that one is so low !!! Otherwise I would be on more than $500!!

If parking pages for .TV could include VIDEO,that would be awesome, especially if related videos would start playing when clicked..... are we not anyway heading in that direction with the tools ENOM will be providing?? So less of a parked page more of a 1PLUS.NET type, except no need to revenue share......??

This is a question I have, is ENOM planning on doing this with the tools?
Does anyone know how to make a video classified adds system?
You could just sell space to a business and stream the video for them.
If anyone from demand/enom is reading this please listen to me and give us the tools to do this lol

Why wait for Demand Media, we should create our script and allow namepros TVers to use it. In the end we would all make more money on our parked pages.
