Best parking programs sorted by domain type

There are a lot of different parking programs, and a lot of people say some are better than others at generating revenue for certain types of domains. Unless i missed it, i havent seen a thread that consolidates all this info, though. So, with some help, id like to create a single post (ill edit this one as needed) to reflect which parking programs are the best for different types of domains. Id also like to list the types of domains a parking program does NOT accept.

Im thinking the lists should be sorted a couple different ways: By category (such as 'poker') and by parking program (such as 'fabulous').

Since im far from a domain-parking expert, im gonna need a lot of help to create a comprehensive list... so if you've got some experience with parking programs, say something!

There is NO POINT in parking domains. You are just making the person who will actually use the domain even more frustrated!

As for parking programs, I have SEDO, only because they dont require SSN.

In my experience Namedrive is much better than Sedo for non-english domains.

Sedo - get's you some traffic - clicks are sporadic and the ctr (at least on my names) are low X% Lot's of $0.3 clicks too

Fabulous - Had them while at Afternic for a few months - maybe I wasn't with them long enough, but I got nada, zip, zilch

Goldkey - suck suck suck - customer service problems imho

Namedrive - haven't tried them yet...maybe next on the list

DomainSpa - Just switch 50/500 over to them. No activity yet. First impression: very nice landing page...looks like a minisite...really slick...comparing it to sedo, I'd say it's a slam dunk for DomainSpa...Let's see how the traffic goes there, how much and how fast they pay...I'll follow up.

im hoping to fully release a 100% free parking site giving 90-100% of revenue, adsense for domains, free featured domains, free parking, free keyword SEO, free sales listing and a free domain escrow service, in conjunction with NP's, for the benefit of NP's members...

Its in beta right now though is working on a personal adsense platform for the moment..

I think Bobba raise an interesting point here.

I think if you have a domain that needs to be branded by an end user, it may be better offered for sale with a clean sheet of history.

However if you have a domain receiving thousands of hits a day I guess you'd be a fool not to park it, but then again with traffic like that, you'd be a fool not to develop it.

i've had sporadic success w/a computer related domain using skenzo.com (via trafficclub.com). anyone know what types of domains work best on skenzo? most of the domains i've tried there have NOT worked out, but a couple domains that have not worked out well anywhere else, worked out for me on skenzo.

Right. But I guess it's al up to the owner. If he cannot dvelop even a little minisite, then I guess parking will have to do. Plus if you make more money parking, then park it. It all depends on the situation and the domain, I guess.

Does Domainspa show stats a day in arears? Because I just cannot beleive that 60 domains that were getting a combined 75-125 hits per day have only gotten 1 hit? Well, actually 7 hits, but 6 were rejected...hmmm

I'll give it another week or two, but those stats better start showing some improvement or I'm outa there...glad, at this point, that I only moved over 10% to test...

Just started with namedrive.com 100 new regs, and 100 old domains. So far so good.

Never could get traffic at fabs landers, unless the domain was hosted.

Don't forget Sedo Pro is in beta, denied twice for that program.

Highest paying keywords at Fab:
"bet" / "sportsbook"- up to US$10, average below $5 per click
"online poker" related- up to US$13.50, consistently $3-$7 per click

NB: my dot INFOs don't convert very well at ND (less than 1%), does anyone know the best place to park infos?

moved my domains over to namedrive.com after one week at domainspa.com... to many "rejected" clicks @ domainspa.com... although they did have nice landing pages.... doing well @ namedrive and earnings are are up per domain (only have 10 parked as a trial). After 3 days my click revenue is at $20.00 with namedrive.com with only 10 domains compared to $1.30 with domainspa.com (same number of domains parked).

I switched over about 50 names to domainspa to try them out...very little traffic compared to sedo and experienced an 78% rejection ratio on my clicks...not a single penny in revenue over the last week either...

Also, when you land on the page it springs 3-4 pop ups...I don't like that...it's spammy and is probably why the little, or in my case, the zero revenue...

I'm out of there tomorrow...

Tell that to my wife & the IRS. Do you suppose the mid XX,XXX I made last year from domain traffic will not be missed if I do not let them in on it this year.

As for the "end user" finding me, they will if they want it. They always do. Although, I still have not figured out how Parking a domain adds to another persons "frustration".

Quick views from me.
- The few times I have dealt with GoldKey support they have responded within hours. No problems there whatsoever.
- The earnings per click is probably not the best at GoldKey but at least I have CTR that is something close to insane
- I noticed that Fabulous now have international feed
