You have to add in the whois server to retrieve the whois data from for example: whois.nic.us

Hm...it seems a bit slow when looking up the WhoIs information....any reason for this and is there a fix?

Its on my vps - which hosts a few proxies.

Should be fine on a normal server

Ok, once last question. Is the text you receive from those WhoIs (the WhoIs information) given to you as a string? So once you get the string, you could format it any way you want? Thanks!

It uses functions to retrieve the data. I think you can only display it the way the whois servers provide it.
