Be.tv has been registered.
I'm a little bit sad because I loved it and thought to register for at least a month.
It was about 6K...

I think many had looked at BE.tv and considered buying. If I had the spare I would have taken that and FR.tv

I was a little surprised it lasted on the sales block for so long.

Congrats to Claude on picking up the opportunity - BE is the country code for Belgium.


This is also extra proof, if proof were needed, of two things. The first is that enduser money nearly always gets re-invested in .TV (Claude had a the big METAL.tv sale a few weeks ago) and second, the two-letter names are a currency unto themselves.

I seen that as well and even had thoughts to grab it. My big problem with it would be when it's time to brand a site. You tell folks your site is be.tv and many could mistake it for b.tv

We had the name as one of our main targets since it dropped on September 4th. (Un)fortunately we have a ton of other .TV projects to develop atm so we had to get our priorities straightened out. Splashing out $6.2k for that domain wasn't an option at this point in time and I have to say I'm happy the domain is gone, it somehow puts my mind at ease hehe

Congrats on a really great grab Claude, this domain has A LOT of potential. If you need ideas, shoot me a pm :P
