.be domain name thoughts

I am new in domain selling, and have realized the great value of owning a .be domain. I was wondering if some of you purchasing gurus could explain to me a few simple things i should look at before purchasing a specific domain name. (ie hits, searches)

I have found that my french names are doing much better over at sedo than my english names. Traffic is slow but a few are doing rather well for freebies.

i was thinking the same thing, i can only register 10 though, is there a way to get say...30?

Different places have different rules about the amount you can register. Look around and register at different places

Use namebay to register them. As far as I know, they don't put a limit in the # of ".be" registrations.

Use Several Registrars. Like regfly, eurodns and sevaral others.

erm i got quite a number , say 40 at nuclus.be ?

though it wasn't a great registry.

but .be market is good.

got girlstalk.be...generation 10 hits per day and from most search engine. : )

NAmebay limits you to 99 unless you had more than 99 when they sent out that notice I do believe.

This is correct but also this is only for registered users, they now charge for new users

Also look for what would be the renewal charges after one year (in case you want to keep the domain after an year).

So far freebe.be seems to be cheapest at 7Euro, Eurodns would charge 18Euro after one year. Any other registrar that has cheap renewal rate.

well i registerd around 20 at eurodns and they expire in april for some reason, i just got them yesterday.. it says i registered then on 05/05

i just want to get a lot of names and find a good place to sell them. i have a few i know will sell big already

The actual value of .BE domains will be realized after Jan 31, imho

How do you guys get traffic on there? I have some nice French .be's but zero traffic at Namedrive.

Things will change on the European domain market after .eu goes live. Guess that at least some European ccTLD´s could loose value because people will prefer .eu
