General Requirements : I need two banners for a health blog, banners will be used for ads on other sites, not on this blog. The blog is about nutrition and natural health, you can read some posts to get a better idea.

I tend to like this first style better than the sunflower designs.

I think it would be good to have an image of a nondescript man walking, in the banner.

As an example, a man like this:



or this



No face. No race. A form that invites questions rather than answering them.

I'd like to build some mystique around the concept of the "healthy fellow". I think that might add something different to what we're doing - like the film reviews.

Feedback from my partner:

I mostly like the banners on posts: #4, #10 & #12.

I like the colors. I like the font. I like the character size.

What I'd like to see on that style of banner is our tag line, "Your Natural Health Critic". And, I'd like the man to be walking - not with his arms outstetched. I want to convey a journey not overt enthusiasm or rejoicing.

There is one banner that features a man walking. It's post #17. I'm not wild about the colors however. I'd prefer earthier colors. I'm also not fond of the man being in a suit.

Finally, I just don't think the glossier banners are right for us. I'm referring to the banners on posts: 8, 11, 16 and 19.
