I started splforum.com about a month ago and its been going pretty good, i want to ad banners on to the top of my forum but how do i go about it?

i found a php hack that lets me add banners in admin panel and randomly rotates them on the header of the forum where i have placed the code.

How much should i expect to make or charge per week, or month to put someones banner on there? How many banners do you think i should rotate?

New to this as i have only ever used google adsence or adbrite programs before and not really made much from them.

Thanks for any advice.

it all depends really

how much traffic do you get, do you do well with your adsense ie do visitors click your ads?

Well going from my awstats on my cpanel

the site started in October.

October
Unique visitors 3124
Hits 582266

November
Unique visitors 4570
Hits 857154

December so far
Unique visitors 340
Hits 65948

Ehh my adsence didnt do to well, its at $11 for them 3 months. but its only a little ad at the bottom kind of hidden, i think the banner will be a lot more successfull as the members i do have so far are pretty active and say an arcade website would really attract them compared to an adsence link at bottom. I really dont know yet, and am unsure if that is even enough vistors or hits to be able to sell banner space.

Thanks for quick reply.

For 1 banner constantly on?

Exactly what I was thinking. You can ask them for $10 on the spot to not have rotating or charge them like $5 and rotate with 2-3 others. This way you can make, easily, between $10-$20 a month.
