I just hand regged Baldago(.)com and was hoping for an appraisal please.

I bought it because I think it's brandable,
has a niche (baldness)
and all 7 letters are premium.
It's pronounceable and memorable.

Did I just waste another $1.99 voucher

Seriously, any advice on what price to aim for
and what type of auction you think may be best
to try and sell it on to other domain traders?

Usually domains that contain roots with a "negative" meaning do not make good brandables. I think it is worth around the regfee.

I just regged AxFat(.)com before reading your reply,
I would not of now, as "fat" being the root negative, as you say.

Being a man and a Brit I can sometimes be a bit insensitive to others I guess.
I've been accused of being a "1970's caveman" the other day by a female friend.
So I will be watching my negatives from now on

@Nerevar is right. While there are always exceptions, a company that wants to help people with baldness, is going to want to focus on hair or growth (the positives) rather than the negative. With weight loss, you do sometimes see them use "fat" or an aspect of the negative as a rallying call, but you still need to be careful IMHO.

thanks Svede, yes, unfortunately I am generally a negative thinker, it would not occur to me to think "hair growth" as opposed to "you are bald". Will retrain brain for next brainstorming session. cheers,
