i saw it on LLLLsales.com . apparently the .com.co versions sold . LLLLsales reported it as .com so they probably made a mistake recording it.

I wonder why and how a domain that's worth so much gets dropped.

Long ago someone registers a domain for their business, and they register it out for 10+ years. eMail addresses change, people die, or maybe they are filthy rich and forgot about it.

I'm sure there are many gems out there that fall under this category.

Sometimes people have no idea of the value of their domain.

A few times a month people join this forum asking the value of their 4L .COM, not knowing they have a 'chip' or something possibly valuable.

I agree with DomainVP. Not all business owners are aware of the value of the domain names they own, in fact smart domainers have acquired valuable domains for cheap by contacting companies that were about to change their name or drop their domains.

My mistake, they were .com.co.
Those are $15.99 to renew at Name.com.
