Backup.info

Considering selling this one, what do you think would be a fair price, just for name only, no development etc.

Traffic: very small/insignificant
Registered since: 13-Jul-2002
Overture for "backup": 48,753

Cheers :)

Excellent name, with potential end-users having pretty deep pockets. (think commercial back-up software.. This would make an excellent portal for any one of them)

because it's an info, I'd call it mid-high xx to (very) low xxx.

Until Info really takes hold a little better, I believe you should hold for appreciation. I'd reg it for a few more years and forget it if it was mine.

I like it. Could be used as a resource for "backing stuff up" or to literally "backup your info"

Low XXX w/o dev. Nice name

not a bad name at all.
If you are selling to an end-user don't accept anything below $5,000.
Camping.info sold at $28k, backup.info is surely of similar quality.

Things change when you sell to domainers, assume that the above figures are good.

HI

Yes it is a great domain name you could develop it into a site that lets people backup their pc or files online, I would hold on to it for now unless you get an offer you are happy with,

Thanks

I agree with ezimedia. Find a nice dedicated server or something and allow members to buy space from you to put backup files!

Yeah, I have been thinking of what to do with this one, I might develop a site for it... I doubt I would set up my own server... too much hassle... there seems to be heaps of affiliate programs for this area:

http://www.handybackup.net/reselling.shtml
http://www.databk.com/affiliate.htm
http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/partners/affiliate/
http://www.backup4all.com/affiliate-program.php
http://www.2brightsparks.com/affiliates/index.html
http://www.symantecstore.com/v2.0-img/operations/symantus/affiliate/faqs.htm
http://www.datadepositbox.com/partner-program/reseller.asp
http://www.beinsync.com/partners.php
http://www.paragon-software.com/reseller/affiliate.htm
http://www.zipbackup.com/affiliates.html
http://www.i2drive.com/affiliate/index.jhtml
http://affiliates.sparebackup.com/Join.aspx
http://www.amerivault.com/affiliates.html
http://www.backupexpress.com.au/partners.php

Anyway, if the right offer comes along I will probably sell it... But I would probably have to wait for an end-user to get a good price.

Cheers :)
