I'm hoping to grab a domain as it expires in about 3 weeks (I know I"ll also have to wait for it to drop) but if anyone has experience with backordering, which one do you think is most successful? How much does it cost (includes name reg or not?)

Thanks
-Ambrose

nope, i've always wondered what happens if someone has a one year payment on a domain, and you backorder it, wat happens if they choose to renew that? Do you get it, since you backordered their one year pay, or do they, since they renewed?

I suggest clubdrop. it has a good success rate and is cheap if no-one else is going for the name

ENom and pool are the two good ones. ENom costs you bid+reg fee.
Pool costs you 60 bucks.
Godaddy is cheap but has lower successful rates.

Depending on what kind of name you're going to backorder, you would like to choose different services.

Use them all if you really want it. Pool.com, snapnames.com, and namewinner.com, and Enom club drop all only charge if you win. No reason not to try them all. godaddy does charge win or lose, but you can carry a lose to another name try later.
