There is a domain that looks pretty low budget, that I would love to have if they ever forget to renew. What is the best way to backorder? I see a lot of sites offering this service for $60. Does it matter who I go through to try and backorder? I heard that some of these services are better than others, so I was hoping if I try to backorder a domain, I would do it right with your help. Thanks!

Is there a reason namejet is better than godaddy or any other service?

Backorder through as many as you can, except godaddy. Godaddy backorders don't work, all you end up with is a useless credit.

Backorder with them all to give you the best chance of catching the name.

With most services you only pay whoever catches the name

You can backorder with all, but be prepared to go to auction if the name is good. DomainMonster seems to do well and they are one of the only ones who is first come first serve with no auction if you are first to backorder. I have never used them but hear good things and they grab some good ones. If you really want the name, use them all like triplepen mentions. You don't pay unless they get it. Good Luck :)

It really depends upon where the domain is currently registered.

It depends on the current status of the domain and where it's registered.
There may be options to snatch the domain before it goes in redemption and drops.
