Backlink generators

Hi all,

Just wondering what your thoughts are on automated backlink generators. Does it help to create 1000 (or 10k?) backlinks of low (or no) quality or can it only harm your domain value?

No automated generators won't help you build that many backlinks, maybe a small fraction of them, say 0.01% to 0.1% at-most.
Depending on many factors of your domain (domain age,etc) and website (content, etc) they maybe "slightly" help or may even get you sandboxed (banned) by search engines. So overall it's generally not recommended unless you know exactly what you are doing.

Thanks for the reply. As for the generators, it is quite easy to set up my own automated backlink generator to do this. I am wondering if it might be beneficial to setup a system that generates 10-100 (low quality) backlinks a day per domain.
Read up on your linkwheel, great service, I am just thinking about setting something up for simple, automated (so no high end) links.
Perhaps I should just experiment with it on a few fresh domains if I really want to find out the effect of such an approach.
