Hi There all,
I am creating a site that has a table with a background image, this table has other tables nested within it and I am concerned wether the image will tile when viewed in certain browsers, has anyone come across this problem and if so what is the solution?
Cheers

Normally the image will tile in all browsers unless you tell the table not to tile background images by using the appropriate background-repeat command in css.
And one more thing, if you have nested tables within that table, they will appear as if see-through (the background image of the parent table will show through them) unless you give them a background colour or a background image.
Cheers ;)

HI volos,
Thanks for your reply, I should be clearer with what I am asking.
I understand that the image will be displayed separately inside each cell of a table in some versions of netscape, even in the cells of a table nested within the original table that you put the background on.
My site currently looks great in explorer and firefox, but repeats in cells in netscape.
Does anyone know a way round this?
cheers
