Hi,

I am having a hard time in getting my navbar to stay together. Please visit the site to see an example. I am using tables (generated by ImageReady), editing in Dreamweaver. I want the navbar to be a continuous image with the rollovers. But, the images are being pulled apart as text fills and stretches the column to the left. I have tried embedding a table, but couldn't get it to display correctly. Any suggestions?

Nav 8 Beta. Is this site a work in progress?

Try to use <br> tag for each image in the table and see if it's help.

Basically your problem is to do with the table layout you have chosen.

You have used one big table and rowrspan'ed the rows where you have put your main content, now this is fine if your content does not exceed the height of your RH nav but as soon as it does it is going to try and resize all the table cells on the right where your navigation is.

Simplest thing would be to recreate your tables using nested tables.

- Create one table with 2 rows.
- Places your logo in the top cell
- Create another table with 2 cols in the bottom cell of the first table.
- Place your content in the left cell if this nested table.
- create another table with 6 rows in the right hand cell of the second table
- Add your navigation into each cell of that nested table.
- Probably a good idea to also align all cells contents to the top.

Now your pages should keep there general layout.
