AzoogleAds - Need Proof.

Hello,

I can't login to my account since yesterday and it shows a link that says something about my account being blocked. I have been with Azoogle around 5+ months now made a total profit of $xx.xxx and had no problems with them until now and i used to recommend them to everyone that was into Affiliate Networks. With no notice or anything though yesterday they blocked my account for some reason i don't know yet. The only thing i got is that I'm accused of Fraud. I have no idea what kind of fraud or anything. I'm still waiting their reply which i was told that i might never get. I just wanted to post this to warn new users and old ones and to put them on hold just to be sure. I'll keep ya update if i get any emails from them.

Thanks,
NwS

I have just replied to Thomas. I sent him the same transaction file that is attached to this message.

This file contains proof of numerous leads being generated on his affiliate ID by the same group of IPs, all on the same days, using the same browser versions. Clearly, this affiliate either did this himself or had someone sign up 10-15 times to a group of offers over and over again.

Proof is undeniable that fraud was committed on this account.

Here is a snipbit of the file for anyone who doesnt want to download the entire thing:

Thank you.

Additionally, just wanted to mention that AzoogleAds is working with the FBI computer crimes division in order bring down all the fraudsters that we have tracked over the past few months.

Thanks.
Alex

Yep, fraud won't get you far these days with ANY network. Sorry NwS, but it seems from your track record, I don't think you are going to last long with any networks, if you are even able to get accepted. We deny all applicants who pull up a fraud meter score of any kind due to their past history with any and all networks.

Good luck with your continued online marketing. Hope you are able to straighten out your marketing tactics. :)

Track record actually brings ya nothing.. That track record at least. As i pointed out I'm not doing that coz even if i was trying to do such thing i wouldn't use the same IP. I'm not so stupid.

Lol, what an ass, whats the point in clicking your own ads? you only get busted and im glad the alexazoogle fella posted the evidence for all to see, no wonder you get banned from all affiliate programs.

Serves you right lol

Thank you

Sin

Go call an ass yourself or your family since as i can see you look like one.
Clicking your own ads is ok so you can test them. Completing them is kinda stupid of course. Plus thats the first Affiliate network and the last one im getting banned from. Working with others much better than this one plus i started getting written permission for each Offer i use coz i don't wanna end up with some fake fraud abuse again.

Cya ass.

I would like to add that since Az is a CPA network, where you will get paid for action (not click), would Alex mind checking with the advertisers if the actions are legit/

Just my thought. This would be a different case if we are dealing with Pay-per-click network.

Nws, may be you *should* assess your traffic again.

Just a thought.

Really? In the realm of all the possibilities that could cause this it is clear that these are the only two options? I can think of plenty of others.

Yikes! I'd get a knuckle rapping from the legal department if I came out saying something like that. Hopefully you'll get nothing more painful, especially if it turns out this guy had nothing to do with it and is being defamed by you for the actions of someone else.

I'm not saying this is the case, but you shouldn't be throwing around talk like this without proof. And as I've stated above, no, you have not provided proof that this guy was involved in any wrongdoing.

Brilliant! With plenty of examples of entries, using the same user agent and from the same region where the affiliate is based, you decide to highlight about the only ones that don't fit :)

I would have picked some of the 100 or so entries from Greece with a user agent of Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)

The only ones from Greece that you would have would be the ones i was testing the offers which is NOT against Azoogle TOS.. Anyways.

I'd be interested to see how you arrive at that conclusion. The TOS reads:
3. Fraud.

Company actively monitors traffic for Fraud. If we detect fraud, your account will be made inactive pending further investigation.

If you fraudulently add leads or clicks or inflate leads or clicks by fraudulent traffic generation (as determined solely by Company, such as pre- population of forms or mechanisms not approved by Company), you will forfeit your entire commission for all programs and your account will be terminated. Company reserves sole judgment in determining fraud, and you agree to this clause.

It is the OBLIGATION of the Affiliate to prove to Company that they are NOT committing fraud. Company will hold your payment in 'Pending Status' until you have satisfactorily provided evidence that you are not defrauding the system. We flag accounts that:

1. Have click-through rates that are much higher than industry averages and where solid justification is not evident.
2. Have ONLY click programs generating clicks with no indication by site traffic that it can sustain the clicks reported.
3. Have shown fraudulent leads as determined by our clients
4. Use fake redirects, automated software, and/or fraud to generate clicks or leads from our programs. Top of page.

The fact that this is a load of drivel that should have been run past a lawyer does not automatically mean you can do whatever you want.

primacomputer,

I'm curious... Is there always piss in your cereal in the mornings or are you just naturally such a warm and loving person?

Thanks.

You can feel free to ask the Azoogle Staff yourself.

There's nothing wrong with my cereal but I often loose my breakfast when I read a poorly worded TOS :)

I'm sorry if it displeases you that I don't agree that you can define “fraud” however you want. However it's a very valid point and you'd do well to give it consideration.

Or you can simply add a term to your TOS stating that the sun will rise in the west at your sole discretion and show me what a fool I am.

A new TOS is forthcoming. I'll be sure to request your approval once it is posted :) Thanks for the advice, we will take it under consideration.

I see nothing wrong with the ToS. Only someone looking to cheat would see something wrong with it.

Good to hear, and I wish you the best of luck Don't worry about getting my approval, run it past a lawyer who can give you a solid legal opinion.

Well if you are jokingly implying that all lawyers are out to cheat then I will have to jokingly agree with you. If you're saying that because you see nothing wrong with it it's fine then I'd ask to see your qualifications.

I know it's common place to take bits and pieces from other peoples TOS, tweak them a bit, and throw them together. But this is a big mistake. Your TOS is an important legal document. It's really the only thing you have that lets you define your rights and your customers responsibilities. Having one that's legally ambiguous is dangerous.

"piss in your cereal"?

A very strange expression, never heard that one before.
Apparently though, piss is sterile. So if one does consume it there should be no ill effects. :)
