Nice new gTLD combo. probability of resale pretty low in 2017, unless you have some special marketing plan for it (will you sell it as brand, or because of its seo properties, or because of some other reasons?)

The name will probably have premium renewal attached to it, without knowing what is the renewal it is difficult to appraise, as higher the renewal, the lower the resale value of the domain. and vice versa.

I am going to sell it as a brand and because for its SEO properties , it is a good domain for both

and my question to you is what is the relation between the resale price of the domain and the renewal price? I didn't really understand

If you could appraise it what price would you attribute for this domain?

Well, domains can have different renewal prices. Your domain can have renewal for example USD 20, but it can also have renewal USD 1000.

You can find out your renewal for example when you will try to extend your domain name for another 1 year - you do not need to finish the process, just check how much the registry will ask you to renew the domain. This way you will find out exactly what the renewal is.

Relation between renewal and resale price is this : if the renewal for particular name is too high, almost no buyer will want it usually. The reason is, even if the name is very nice, people generally do not want to pay lets say 1000 USD each year That is why it is important to have good names, but with low renewals, if possible

As for appraisal, if you find out renewal is USD 20 - I would feel resale price somewhere between 1-2k in 2017. If you find out renewal is 1000 USD, I would feel no value in the name from resale perspective.

@Antonio Chelala @lolwarrior You have raised a great point, and now I have a question. Renewals can go up or down, right? To register Available.Flights, what did that cost? And now that we know it is a $70 renewal, would Antonio have been better off registering the domain at the sale price for say 5 years?

I really like the domain by the way. I can totally see it as an app . . . like those screens at the airport showing all the various flights. Ofcourse a component to purchase an available flight would be on the app as well!

I think 3XX is realistic, and I probably wouldn't wait around to see if renewal prices drop!

I think the value is limited. Maybe a low xxx, or so. It is very hard to valuate new gTLDs in general.

AvailableFlights.net and .org are available and the search volume is low. VERY FEW .flights names have been sold as well. Personally, I've dropped all of mine.

Still, the name makes sense. There could be a buyer out there. Best of luck!

I understand what you mean, but I think it will be a tremendous amount of work to collect all the needed (accurate) data, if you want to develop it.

You have misunderstood the domain , you should choose the from where to where to check all available flights from all available airlines ..... and after that you select the price with the airline you want to book a flight
