Ok. I regged hairlessheroes. Will park and see if this OVT score is legit. Seams odd that some of these names are getting these OVT with extension. I checked archive.org and there wasn't anything special about the history of them.

Eh, about all I can do is find the domains. You should see the ones I find that I don't post. My experience with Ovt w/Ext. domains is hit or miss. Some work, some don't. Every once in a while you find that golden domain that receives consistant quality traffic.

I check each domain by hand, both for availability and for ovt score. It takes a long long time to find a single domain, sometimes hours. My secret is the magic gnome that tells me which domains to check. That way I only check hundreds of domains instead of thousands.

I've also tried this (google.com) method with similar results.

I have no idea if I'm making a smart choice by regging these.

My suggestion is to NOT register a domain based on the overture score alone. Keywords and the domain itself will give you a little idea of traffic potential but I recommend checking out other aspects about the domain too. You can check Link Popularity, PR, Dmoz listings, Google search results, Existing sites with the same name but a different extension, if the domain has had any previous websites, etc. An overture score does not automatically mean the domain is worth registering, just worth investigating further. Good luck with your domains.
