Available .cc version of .com sold for $xx,xxx

I see a .cc domain available for the same word that was sold for $xx,xxx in .com extension.

Will it have any impact in the .cc extension?

BTW .ws version is also available.

domain names are sold and valued for a multitude of reasons. For example, the name you are refering to may have had a well indexed site with lots of type-in traffic and back links. you have to do some research before you assume that the cc version of this name holds any value.
