I have a high $xxx offer right not for it but I am inclined to pass. What would you do?

I think that domain is worth much more than 2k, probably double or treble to the right person, and even more on a good day. Park it, have it appraised and wait for the right buyer.

If the buyers are in the auto biz take the 2k and get a great deal on a car.

They are a small media company. They don't manufacturer or sell cars. I agree that the potential for this domain can be a $xx,xxx domain but at the sale time I can make this deal now and do ok with it. I already have 2 premium domains that I want that I can get with under $2k.

I have sold a lot of names over 5k and I do not think I could get $xx,xxx for that name. maybe if you also owned AutomobileForum.com.

Now if it was AutoForum.com or CarForum.com then, YES for sure.

I personnaly do not like the plural on that name. It makes me think of the search I am going to do in Google to find a Automobile Forum.

Although 2K is a good offer, it did not take long for you to get a second offer. I would hold on to it. If you want, I think this is a good name to auction and you set your reserve. This way you can test the market and if you get what you want, then hell, your happy and the buyer is happy. Just my opinion.


I mean Muscleforums.com sold for $ 750!!

I tend to be a reasonable seller. I find that when you get greedy it bites you in the butt. I do think the $2k is reasonable. I think I could get more but at the same time I could also be sitting on it for years waiting to do so. I would like to develop the name as I do well with forums but there is 1 problem. I am really not into cars so the subject matter doesn't interest me. Usually that makes for a bad combination. I am gonna accept the $2k offer. I sent an email already. I will let you guys know the final details and who the buyer was after it's over.
