FREE Automatic Logo Generation For Domains (free)

I got tired of creating logos for domains. I just WISHED there was some API that would create logos automatically on demand.

So I created such a service: www.logolava.com

This service is currently in free beta. The service may break at anytime, and this is the first public announcement of the site anywhere, tonight, October 24th, 2019. (But you can bet your butt I will be attentive to any problems, having been a lifelong entrepreneur and builder of websites like this.)

(Having said that, the logos are aggressively cached by Cloudfront, and once generated they should stay online and are served from a redundant global content delivery network.)

You can generate a logo simply by making an <img src=""> url like this: https://api-cdn.logolava.com/v1/?txt=Example.com -- simple, right? But you can add tons of optional parameters like height, width, font styles, icons, colors, etc.

I will be improving the quality of the automatically generated logos over the next few months and I welcome ALL feedback, the good, bad & ugly.

Add more keyword based images,so people will love it and start using it for their portfolio.

Thank you for the suggestion! Just to make sure I understand it, you would like the tool to automatically include an icon that thematically matches the text of the logo, right? If so, would you like to explicitly specify a keyword (for example as a separate parameter) or do you want the system to guess by looking at the domain name / text of logo?

Seriously? zoho.eu is a pretty well-known email provider, although thats not the point at all. You are offering your service to domainers, so it shouldn't discriminate even against emails on a domain like @xsadasdasd23sad.horse!

Hi Don, the intention isn't to discriminate against any certain kind of domain. I paid extra for a service that helps consumers correct typos in e-mail addresses thinking that would improve the service.

As I mentioned, this is a beta/brand new service being offered without charge so there are bound to be some issues. I'm sorry for the inconvenience this caused.

May I ask, did you hit submit a second time? The design is such that just one more click would tell the site "no, really, that's what I meant". If you clicked a second time and it still didn't work, then I need to fix a bug, please let me know.

Email validation is always a pain, pain if you do, pain if you don't.

I've just tried and it wouldn't work the second time.

Looks like a great option for people running their own basic marketplace websites. Obviously it'll get better with improved diversity of fonts and styles.
