if you were able to reg them, then apparently a lot of other people didn't.

now, think about why they were still there waiting

it's prolly because autodealerships don't have orgs, as the workers(mechanics/service workers) typically belong to a union if anything.
and what's a motor dealership?

so, to me, they are not worth more than you paid.

Well AutoStore.org sold for $2500 a few months ago on Sedo, so that is a positive.

In general, I agree with @biggie that in this sector .org is not nearly as good as .com unless it is for an association or reference consumer site or something.

I far prefer AutoDealerships to Motor.

I think your best bet is if you can find someone who wants to develop a reference site for links to auto dealerships (and the dealers pay to get listed).

ps i see that AutoDealerships in .com is for sale but a minimum offer of $50,000, so maybe someone who wanted that but found the price out of reach might consider the .org.
