Last night I ignored the urge to register SpaceShipThree.com , and today the .com .net .org and .whatnot is all taken.

Today I decided to redeem myself and find another good dn investment. After a bit of investigation I discovered the huge potential of Augmented Reality: Google Trends: augmented reality . The estimated AR market size in 2014 is $732,000,000 , especially in AR marketing.

I think adverts and billboards shown as augmented reality on mobiles will become simply huge, and so I decided to get a piece of the pie, all new .com registrations:

ar+
advert
adverts
billboard
billboards
registrar

There are still a lot of possibilities available, so I thought I'd share this so you can also get a piece of the action :santa:

Don't take things to heart take it on chin it all makes us buy better in end.

I donโ€™t mind the feedback, Itโ€™s useful and welcome. I just find double standards confusing.

Certain Domainers big up their own domains which have very little sales history to back them up, which also get the approval of several other โ€˜Domainersโ€™, then slag off other peopleโ€™s Domains even though they have an invested interest in the same niches.

Makes me question the authenticity of those supporting accounts.

I don't usually mention domains I have as they don't usually qualify for threads I came only to be noticed as eladn is on the buy.

In all fairness Levi, you pretty much compared ARcryptoassets as a better domain name than ARgames.

Now that is pretty deluded. Yes you might personally like it. But honestly there won't be many in this forum that would even place it in the top 1000 AR domains. Let alone the top 10.

Now take AR out of the equation.

Games(.Com) is a super premium domain name.

Cryptoassets (.com) is a pretty decent domain name.

One is gonna be $x,xxx,xxx

The other will likely be $xx,xxx

Massive difference, but I know you don't see this.

Thing is no one can knock your lack of effort in looking into crypto news. But sometimes if that is constantly what you are looking for that's all you will see.

You said name better use cases for AR. Advertising is a massive use case for AR, so is shopping. But games definitely would be a massive use case.

I wish you good luck with your domains, I really do.

And you are right to renew the domain name for as long as you wish. If you believe in the domain name that is all that matters. I'm just saying to put it in a top 10 was probably a bias decision.

I totally respect your opinion but weโ€™ll have to agree to disagree.

Right now maybe. But Cryptoassets are in their infancy. Your comparing Gaming to the future of Money. Itโ€™s not just money either, โ€˜Cryptoassetsโ€™ cover the transfer of digital information and value in so many different ways.

Gaming is big, Money is bigger. If you think otherwise itโ€™s you who is deluded.

Your not getting it Levi. This is not about Money vs Gaming. This is about what companies are going to view as a premium domain name in the AR field that they must buy to stand above the competition.

Will payments of different varieties be apart of AR? Yes of course.

Will they view ARcryptoassets (.com) as an essential buy to achieve type in traffic catches to achieve their business goals? Probably extremely unlikely.

Where as the best domain name a company dealing with AR games can own either as a brand or redirect? Definitely AR games (.com)

Look you never will know what will or won't sell. But there is definitely bias in placing your domain above ARgames (.com)

You have seen the numbers it isn't a delusion you are speculating different to what history says exactly what you said to me very little sales history. So hold your cards as someone may think alike but if we were to vote a top 10 I would think I might get a vote too but we are dreaming.

I donโ€™t think you understand how far reaching Cryptoassets will be.

AR Games will themselves be a Cryptoasset. After all, Games will eventually be digital information stored on a Blockchain.

People are in denial about whatโ€™s happening in the world right now, but itโ€™s happening like it or not.

Cryptoassets isn't arcryptoassets like sex isn't havingsex.

The names which are ar+keyword will be first choice.
The names which are ar+ 2 keywords will be second choice.
If sex is biggest industry on earth then arsex should rate over morgages games loans but it wont it will lead with games as best suits the industry most along with other game related for top purchases.

Money/system backends have always been part of the world and technology.

But we are dealing in trying to sell domain names.

BlockchainGames (.com) Good name
ARblockchainGames (.com) Bad name

Crypto Currency (.com) Good name
AR Crypto Currency (.com) Well you get the point

Thats not to say these domains won't sell of course. But it would probably be a very small fraction of the non AR versions.

You could raise the bar your not out of the race as your not going to roll over eg: if someone bought another arcryptoname because couldn't get your asking price perhaps makes sale and all of a sudden can command higher prices. It isn't about winning and losing these guys are only showing order of keywords nobody is picking on you although it can feel a gang mentality on forums it truly is people speaking their minds.

Mate, I hope you do sell the domains for lots of money.

And this is your top 10 so you have every right to include the names you feel deserve to be there.

But please promise me this. If the owner of ARgames ever wants to swap with you, at least consider it:ROFL:

All the best mate(y)

Okay I did laugh a bit but and see you do support his decision to hold out for most amount possible as we seriously all I want to see some ar+keyword history. Abbreviation + keyword preference will always have a high to low. Some times a good face slap is all we need I know I have had a few eye openers. Peace.

Well I have sold a few AR names but I have only reported one to namebio which I wish I would have asked for more now because it went to a big UK gaming company (but I didn't know that at the time) .

That domain was a keyword + AR however:

FashionAR (.com) $5,000

Itโ€™s all good :)

AR has yet to make its mark. But it would be interesting to see what peopleโ€™s updated top 10 is. (forget order.....my top 10 is obviously a bit tongue in cheek and not one bit unbiased ).

If Apple do release AR Glasses in 2020 and they do live up to peopleโ€™s hopes, then I shudder to think how big this niche will be.

If Arglasses become a real thing I need to kick myself I had vrglasses.io and dropped it years ago. I do have vrhelmet org still. I was thinking at time vrkeyword + ranking away from com net org when mindset was com.
