Last night I ignored the urge to register SpaceShipThree.com , and today the .com .net .org and .whatnot is all taken.

Today I decided to redeem myself and find another good dn investment. After a bit of investigation I discovered the huge potential of Augmented Reality: Google Trends: augmented reality . The estimated AR market size in 2014 is $732,000,000 , especially in AR marketing.

I think adverts and billboards shown as augmented reality on mobiles will become simply huge, and so I decided to get a piece of the pie, all new .com registrations:

ar+
advert
adverts
billboard
billboards
registrar

There are still a lot of possibilities available, so I thought I'd share this so you can also get a piece of the action :santa:

The VR thread is out of control with people regging crap like VRflushtoilet and expecting to make money.

You said it. People register totally illogical stuff. But I dont wanna rain on their parade so I dont say anything.

I am also betting on "mixed reality". Simply because that is what Microsoft is promoting. It sounds better. I also don't quite understand how it differs from augmented reality. And I'm guessing 99 % of people will not care about technical specifics like that.

Some really nice regs on this page (obviously also on previous ones) :).IMO AR will become big, no doubt about it, it just might take longer to become an everyday thing than it takes from VR, as it seems like AR will be in the beginning more suited for the enterprise uses.

F*uck! I had MixedRealityMedicine ready to buy last night. But I backed out because of lack of discount code :D Congratulations man :)

I had to get MixedRealityFitness now instead (the other domain i was considering) before someone gets that too. :)

Medicine will be good I think. And also fitness. I can think of a number of games, visual statistics and so on for fitness purposes.

Has this turned into the mixed reality thread?

Mixed and Augmented Reality is very close together - much closer as AR and VR are. Does it makes to open a new Thread for MR oder should we discuss these domains here too?

Good find on the Fitness.

Has this turned into the mixed reality thread?

It's effectively just another term for augmented reality. But one backed by the leading augmented reality players, including Microsoft.

AR and MR are technically different guys, but no harm having them both in the same thread imo.
